'Love Is Love': Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Celebrate Pride Month
Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated the LGBTQ+ community with a sweet Instagram message.
With their official Instagram page highlighting various causes and social issues, this month the SussexRoyal account is shining a light on Pride Month, which kicked off in the US and UK on June 1st.
Sharing a collage of photographs -- which featured the late Princess Diana -- to their 8.4 million followers, Meghan and Harry captioned the sweet snap with a lengthy post celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
“This month we pay tribute to the accounts supporting the LGBTQ+ community -- those young and old, their families and friends, accounts that reflect on the past and are hopeful for a deservedly more inclusive future,” the post read.
“We stand with you and support you 🌈 Because it’s very simple: love is love.”
Last month, the royal couple revealed they would only be following organisations on Instagram that work to “promote mental well-being, mental fitness, body positivity, self-care, and the importance of human connection,” with the list changing monthly so to reflect the specific cause -- with May's focus being on Mental health Awareness month.
