Aldi Is Releasing Their Own Budget Thermomix That'll Save You Thousands
If you've had dreams of owning the fancy gadget but don't want to spend the cash, your kitchen dreams might just be about to come true.
Supermarket chain Aldi has announced they will be selling their own budget version of the cult kitchen item in their upcoming Special Buy.
The Mistral Thermocooker will be sold for just $299 while the premium Themomix costs $2269, saving you a whopping $1970.
The item has 10 different speeds and comes with a two-litre stainless steal bowl. And if you're worried about its longevity, it also has a three year warranty.
The item will be available in store from September 7 and fans of Aldi are already working themselves into a spin over the news.
"STOP THE PRESS. Look what @mouths_of_mums have spotted. A mistral thermo cooker coming 7 September (AKA much cheaper version of the $2k+ Thermomix). Prepare for chaos!" Aldi Lovers Australia wrote on Instagram.
A number of customers have sung the item praises already, having previously been sold at Big W.
"Wow. I bought one of these years ago when Big W had them and I still can't break it. Such a great alternative, the only difference is it doesn't have built in scales and has two blades but is still amazing for the price," said a commenter.
"I know where I’ll be that morning," added another with many tagging their friends and family to spread the word.
