Khloe's Trainer Joins The Long List Of People Defending The Kardashians' Bodies
The Kardashians often come under fire for suggestions of how much surgery they're had to achieve their bodies, and Khloe Kardashian is no exception.
But her trainer, Luke Milton, has come out to defend the star, despite strong public speculation that the 35-year-old had plastic surgery to achieve her look after struggling with her weight for years.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Milton -- a celebrity personal trainer and former NRL player -- said the reality TV star works "very hard in the gym" and reiterated that a tough fitness schedule and a strict diet are behind Khloe's toned body.
"She's extremely committed to her fitness endeavours, she's extremely disciplined with her nutrition and she is a real athlete in the gym," Milton said.
The 'Revenge Bodies' host previously commented on the speculation herself when she shared her workout guide with Us Weekly.
"I've always loved boxing," she said. "But I do a lot of metabolic circuit training too. And I love to do weights, but with cardio intervals in between."
Khloe attacked reports in 2014 that suggested she'd had butt implants, stating that she's "always had an a**," Daily Mail reported.
"I know its more fun to believe its not real, kind of a compliment since I kill myself in the gym," she wrote on social media at the time.
While Khloe slowed down her training regime while pregnant with her daughter True Thompson, she revived her routine after giving birth and continues to train at the gym, sometimes with her famous siblings.
Her sister Kim Kardashian was also forced to defend herself after display a tiny waist on the Met Gala red carpet that reinvigorated speculation that the star had ribs removed to achieve the look.
The 38-year-old recently laughed off the suggestion in a video on Instagram, crediting a vegan diet for the appearance of her tiny waist when questioned by her friend Anastasia Soare, founder of the cosmetics company Anastasia Beverly Hills.
“Please explain to me how it’s possible,” Anastasia asked, while directing the camera at Kim. “Oh come on,” Kim replied with a smirk. “This waist!”
Anastasia then jokingly asked the mother-of-four, “Did you remove your ribs?”
"I think that honestly being a vegan now helps," Kim replied. "It does look really small today."
Kim previously denied rumours she’d removed her ribs, telling WSJ Magazine, “I don’t even know if that’s possible" before crediting a Mister Pearl corset that left her with marks all over her body for her appearance.
“I have never felt pain like that in my life,” Kim said, adding, “I’ll have to show you pictures of the aftermath when I took it off — the indentations on my back and my stomach.”
Kim's personal trainer Melissa Alcantara further credited the star's look to her exercise regime and dedication at the gym.
On her Instagram story, Melissa shared a photo of Kardashian at the Met Gala and wrote: “To make things clear 1. This dress is corseted BUT 2. Kim trains her a** off six days a f**king week, she wakes up early af and is dedicated.”
The personal trainer then said she doesn’t “give a sh*t about your opinions” on Kim’s body because “I see her every morning, I see her train and I see her sweat and I see all the work she does outside of the gym and THAT is commendable!”
Kim has previously shared that she wakes up at 5.30am six days a week to exercise and mostly focuses on weight training with the assistance of her trainer.
