Mini Beatles Reunion! Paul McCartney And Ringo Starr Perform Together At Concert

The last surviving members of The Beatles delighted fans with their joint performance over the weekend.

Fans who attended Paul McCartney's final show of his Freshen Up tour at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles Saturday night had the surprise of their lives when the Beatles bassist brought a very special guest on stage -- his former bandmate Ringo Starr.

“We’ve got a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone: Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only, Ringo Starr,” McCartney told the crowd to rapturous applause.

A drum kit was then brought out before the pair launched in two popular Beatles classics, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)" and "Helter Skelter".

Fans immediately went into meltdown over the welcome surprise, with several taking to Twitter to reveal the news.

It's one of several times the pair have teamed up on stage since being a part of the hugely popular band, with their most recent prior to this being at the Grammys in 2014.

The pair are the last surviving member of Tthe Beatles, with their bandmate John Lennon having been shot and killed in December 1980, while George Harrison died of lung cancer in November 2001.

Starr wasn't the only music legend to make a surprise appearance at McCartney's show, Joe Walsh of Eagles fame also joined the singer for "The End," from the Beatles' 'Abbey Road'.
