Speaking to 'Elle UK', Miley revealed that one ghostly event had her moving from her London apartment she was residing in at the time to a hotel.

“One night, my little sister… was standing in the shower and all of a sudden, I hear her scream,” she said. “I run in there and the water had somehow flipped to hot but she hadn’t turned it and it was burning her. She was really red.”

She then saw a ghastly figure that resembled a little boy, and after various incidents occurred in the apartment -- which used to be an old bakery --  her family moved. Later, they found out a possible reason behind the events.

“We found out that there was this older man that owned it [the bakery] and his son lived with him there, and I guess the wife died,” she said. “So it was just the son and the dad that lived there in the bakery, and then the dad died and the son took over the bakery, and I thought I was seeing the son.”

Kate Hudson revealed in an interview for the 2005 horror movie, 'The Skeleton Key' that she's had paranormal experiences "plenty of times".

"I've seen a ghost of a woman with no face and that was really creepy. Another time, my grandmother came to me and I woke up and felt amazing that she was around me."

Cher thinks her late ex-husband Sonny Bono, who died in a skiing accident 1998, is haunting her through her lights.

"I love ghosts. I actually think that Sonny makes a light go on," she said. "I have a beautiful chandelier that he makes the light go on when it is impossible, there is no power on."

"He’s playing with them,” she told TMZ. “It’s a totally peaceful thing."

Anna Nicole Smith

The late Anna Nicole Smith revealed in 2004 that she had, uh... relations with a ghost.

"A ghost would crawl up my leg and have sex with me at an apartment a long time ago in Texas," she said. "I used to think it was my boyfriend, and one day I woke up and it wasn’t. It was, like, a spirit and went up! I was freaked out about it, but then I was, like, 'Well, you know what? He’s never hurt me and he just gave me some amazing sex so I have no problem.'"

Jessica Alba

In 2008, Alba told a story about her ghostly encounter, in which she believes she was attacked by a ghost when she was 17.

“I had no idea what it was. I felt this pressure and I couldn’t get up, I couldn’t scream, I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t do anything. Something definitely took the covers off me and I definitely couldn’t get off the bed, and then, once I did, I screamed, ran to my parents’ room and I don’t think I spent many nights in that house ever again!" she said.

She continued, "There was definitely something in my parents’ old house -- I don’t know what it was. I can’t really explain it. But they got it blessed and they burned sage and stuff since then.”

Ariana Grande

While Ariana Grande was in Kansas City, she decided to take a trip to Stull Cemetery -- rumoured to be one of the seven gates to Hell on Earth.

“I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulphur, which is the sign of a demon . . . I was like, ‘This is scary, let’s leave.’ I rolled down the window before we left and said, ‘We apologise. We didn’t mean to disrupt your peace.’ Then I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture -- they’re faces of textbook demons.”

Selena Gomez

Selena revealed on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' that she's a big believer in the spirit world. In fact, she said she even uses an app on her phone to check if there are any spirits around her, particularly while on tour.

"I believe that spirits can tap into technology," she told Jimmy. When he seemed sceptical, she said, "Look I was in a venue and it actually said people in my life by name."

Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves has previously spoken about seeing a ghost family’s new apartment in NYC when he was a child.

“All of a sudden we are looking at [the doorway] and this jacket comes waving through the doorway. Just an empty jacket, there’s no head, there’s no body, there are no legs, it’s just there and then it disappears. And I was a little kid so I was like, ‘OK well that’s interesting.'”

Kendall Jenner

“I do believe in ghosts. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one, but I’ve experienced some pretty ghost-y situations,” she revealed in a video with Vogue, adding that she believes a ghost lives in Kris Jenner's house.

“In the house my mum lives in, Kylie and I would always hear footsteps on the roof while no one was home,” she said. “Kylie’s shower used to turn on all the time and we never knew why. So yeah, I’m convinced it was a ghost.”

Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey claimed in 2009 that his house was once haunted by a ghost by the name of Madame Blu, but he eventually got her to leave.

“I was not even under the influence and she was there. She wasn’t that happy, it didn’t seem like she was going to be much fun to hang around or have in my house, so I went ahead and stood my ground. I opened the door and said ‘You can move around all you want but I’m not going anywhere.’ For weeks everyone that came to the house said the same thing: ‘There’s someone down in that hall, there’s somebody down in that hall.’”

Alyson Hannigan

'How I Met Your Mother' star Alyson Hanigan also believes she has a ghost in her home, except she's more than happy to keep him around.

“I have a ghost in my house … I don’t know why he’s there. But he’s very friendly,” she said. “I saw this silhouette of a man standing in the bathroom doorway. I was like, ‘Sweetie, what are you doing?’ I thought it was Alexis. But then I looked and Alexis was asleep next to me.”

Lucy Hale

“I have a ghost in my house,” the Pretty Little Liars star told Hollywood Teen’Zine.

“Doors close, not slam, but they close. And I have a motion sensor that lights up in my apartment and I swear it lights up sometimes when there’s nothing under it. And my dog barks a lot. I don’t feel threatened, that threatened, but it definitely freaks me out.”

Emma Stone

During a 2014 interview with David Letterman, Emma said that she’d had had several paranormal encounters with her late grandfather.

“There’s a long family history with quarters. My grandfather leaves quarters. It’s him. It’s absolutely him,” she explained. While she never met her grandfather, she insisted that he is the cause of the phantom coins.

“It’s not a logical thing, it’s magical,” she added.
